Steampunk couture came from 'steampunk' which is a subgenre of science fiction where steam power  came into being as well as the advent of  other steam-powered machineries that led to the industrial revolution of some Western countries like England during the Victorian Age . And now in the 2000s, steampunk immediately became a popular choice of costume among people.
