As you all know, there are many different types of living creatures. Today, I would like to introduce one particular animal that I like; a dolphin.
Dolphins are cetacean mammals closely related to whales and porpoises. They vary in size from 1.2 m to 9.5 m as there are about 40 species of dolphins. They are found worldwide, mostly in the shallower seas of the continental shelves and are carnivores, eating mostly fish and squid. They are often regarded as one of Earth's most intelligent animals, and their intelligence can be seen in their behavior. These highly social animals, dolphins, often live in groups, usually consisted of a dozen dolphins, though pod sizes and structures vary greatly between species and locations. In places with a high abundance of food, pods can merge temporarily, forming a group that exceeds about 1,000 dolphins. They communicate with each other using ultrasonicwaves. Dolphins establish strong social bonds; they will stay with injured or ill individuals, even helping them to breathe by bringing them to the surface if needed. They also interact well with humans and become attached to humans. It is a bad news that some of the dolphins are endangered. I strongly believe that we shouldn’t hunt dolphins and should protect them from danger.
