Before I start, let me tell you that dream in this article means the job which I want to have when I grow up.

What is your dream? I had many dreams when I was young. Every people have their dreams. But only some of them can achieve what they want. They are always happy because they can keep their promises. Quoting Paulo Coelho's books, they achieved their Personal Legend. Now, I have one specific dream I want to be when I grow up.

I want to be a linguist who studies ancient Korean alphabet (Hangeul). Since 7th grade, I wanted to become a linguist because this is so attractive to me. Everyone knows that Hangeul is one of the most scientific languages in the world. It is easy to study, write, and speak.

The reason that I want to study ancient Korean is that I am interested in old things. The reason that I am interested in language is that it is the best invention of human. We can express what we want.

Because I want to become a linguist, so I study hard to achieve my dream. First, I want to enter foreign language high school, one of the special-purpose high schools in Korea. Someone can ask me why I want to enter there, since that school is for foreign languages. Then I would answer that every high school students will study ancient Korean, so it would be better to study not only Korean but also other languages.

During my 7th grade, my friends bullied me, calling me stutterer. I was furious but now, I just ignore them. Ignorance is the best medicine for jokes. The problem is that I speak too fast. I don't like to be called that way. People say that it is my only obstacle to be a linguist, but I don't think so. Linguists are people who type more than speaks. (Frankly speaking, I can write 100-page document in keyboard in six hours.)

Anyway, even now, I study hard to achieve my dream. Someday, my dream can be changed. But now, I concentrate to this dream as if this is my goal forever.
What is your dream? To people who have no dream, I advise them to follow what they want. Do not care about other people. It's your life, not theirs. But be careful! As you once decide it, then consider about it.

(Thank you for reading this discursive, conventional, and kind of 'rude' essay.)
